A firewall is a software or a hardware that checks the information coming from a network or the Internet, then allows it or blocks it from your computer depending on your firewall settings.
There are some of the things which the firewalls cant stop.
Phishing scams: Phishing is the technique used to capture any confidential data of the user such as bank account details and password. in such instances users can use
virtual keyboard to enter confidential data.
E-mail viruses: These are the virus messages attached to the email, which the fire wall can not detect. So you can use any anti virus or anti spam programs to detect any such messages before opening the emails.
