Error in Microsoft Outlook "the content cannot be displayed because the s/mime control is not available"

The S/MIME control is necessary to verify the signature of digitally signed message. If you receive a message that has been encrypted or digitally signed and have not installed the S/MIME control, Outlook will display a warning message in the header notifying that S/MIME control is not available. The message will direct you to the E-Mail Security Option where you can install this control.

Note: This control could not be installed in IE 6, better to use higher versions of IE.

Also, the message header will include a link to more information about the status of the digital signature. By clicking the More Information link, you can view the status of the digital signature in addition to the additional information of the sender and the digital ID to sign digitally.
